Monday, October 1, 2012 - Deep purple core ruby rim no signs of age from the appearance. Developing bouquet of dried plum, blueberries, toasty vanilla and hints of smoked meat. Bright acidity, dusty tannins dried blueberries and plums carry through. A hint of minerality quite dry. alcohol was present in the nose but calmed on the palate. Medium body and medium finish. Drink by years end to enjoy the fruit before it disappears.
