Sunday, December 20, 2009 - An absolute beauty of a wine. Talk about understated raw power. Medium red. Perfumed, aromatic nose of raspberries, strawberries and earth. Soft and velvety on the palate, but with immensely pure, red fruit and minerals. The concentration of the fruit builds with air and I have a difficult time taking my nose away from the glass. There's good structure and balance here. A wonderful wine.
