Monday, February 8, 2010 - TN: Jovino (Oregon) Pinot Noir, $48/750 ml (paid restaurant price at La Piazza, Troy, Ohio for this $22 bottle of undistinguished, but drinkable, Pinot noir). Doubt I could have told it from any other West Coast pinot on the basis of style. Good match with Atlantic salmon in tomato sauce. Typical colors, aromas, flavors; perhaps a touch heavier-weight than the average Burgundy in the same price range. Colas, cherry, and so forth.
