The archetypical strawberries of the freisa stood out, but it had enough oomph to stand up to the tomato sauce. I didn't find it to be at all bitter. A glassful was left in the capped bottle for two days, and on the third day had taken on an interesting savory note, a bit like steak sauce. If they still have it the next time I'm in Santa Cruz, I'm inclined to pick up another bottle. In the spirit of the wine's full name, "Imagine (No Point Scores)", I shall leave this review scoreless.
