Monday, October 8, 2012 - Inky deep dark garnet in glass, with an unusual nose of coconut shavings, ash and luscious black fruit. Bright acids on the taste, without much fruit or tannin initially, but showing some capsicum typicity and rich loamy earth, ending on savory leather. Sweet dark fruit - plums, blackberries, dark cherries - emerge later with some time in the glass. Probably peaked ~3 years ago, still has some decent intensity and power, wait no longer - drink now!
