89 Points

Thursday, April 1, 2010 - This is a pretty interesting wine, that very subtly gets close to the 90 point glass ceiling. The first sip is kind of bland, but as you start examining the characteristics a lot of little things pop up. For example, there is slight trace of flinty minerality. There are several fruit components like melon and citrus with some honey and tropical fruit. There is no oak and minimal malolactic. You don't buy and drink this for it's blazing acidity, it is much more balanced and easy drinking, maybe by itself without the need for food. There is a nice richness to the texture, without being heavy. Has a long easy finish. Quite versatile
