Saturday, September 21, 2013 - Opened and poured, this wine gave an excellent showing. On this occasion the wine seems more complete and expressive than prior experiences with this wine. This was tasted side by side with the 2007 Chevillon, "Les Saint-Georges". Both gave excellent showings with the "Les Saint-Georges" displaying a slightly more density and richness to the fruit. At this stage the "Les Cailles" shows a combination of youthful and maturing notes. This seems to at or around its peak.
