Friday, December 25, 2015 - Medium ruby with a touch of clouding. Beautiful wafting bouquet of fully ripe red cherry and cool menthol. Good damp underbrush, drying cranberry, and tea leaves. Explosive red berry fruit on the palate but still extremely elegant and silky. Hedonistic drinking. Tannins totally integrated. Incredible minerality with acrylics and slate. Amazing mix of soily dried berries and tingling minerals. Fresh ground coffee after some air time. Far superior to a 1993 opened a week or so ago. This was really great.
