Savory, and with enough grip to last; good mouthfeel, and there are more positives than negatives by a long shot. But in a Cali Cab, I would prefer a little more mid palate fruit. All in all, I would choose this over a fruitier wine that was less savory if that was the choice; and I would choose a wine that was this savory and had more fruit presence if that were an option.
