Tuesday, February 17, 2015 - A very elegant showing that tends towards the acidic, especially when newly opened. But after some hrs of airtime, got much of its act together.

M- bodied wine with Bdx earth and few other markers. Tannic structure is very fine, especially for a young wine. Mature tannins that excercised their task well on the palate. Tannins M+, Acids M++(+). Great, long finish of lingonberries and cold butter.

Half of me thinks this may become great after some age (probably the part of me that payed for it) and my other half can't stop thinking about the great value I missed out on from Southern France at half price...

Aaaargh... Disillusioned and tired. Time to go to bed.

With the miracle menu at fantastic La Rochelle 'Sanno'.
