Sunday, November 23, 2014 - Decanted 1.5 hours before drinking. Inky blackness - deep black through and through, with no reddening on the edges. Boysenberry and blackberry flavor. Similar to the 1999 insignia that proceeded it. Bitter and heavy, heavy tannins. This could last forty years. Also lots of alcohol, but tolerable - 15%? Super full bodied. Licorice on the back end. Still too bitter, but will be great in 10-20 years.
