Thursday, June 19, 2014 - 100% merlot, unfined, unfiltered; very dark red almost black; fruity nose of very dark berries; powerful and broad bodied, some tannins, non-Bordeaux like (14.5%), limited depth, no complexity, a bit too overcooked, but nevertheless likeable for easy drinking - if you like power, more "Spanish" than Bordeaux
