Wednesday, April 4, 2012 - This wine is an underperformer, especially for the price and the winemaker. Clear ruby with a red brick tint. Nose of black cherry, menthol and a dusty/earthy/moldy note that is not particularly welcome. Light to medium palate of cherry, strawberry, cola, and spice. Flavor profile is a bit simple. Length: only fair. Bright acidity verging on the tart. Supple tannins. Silky texture. Overall, just so-so...
