Quite surprised by how expressive this was at this stage, lots of fruit, creme de cassis and red fruits along with a mixture of cigar box, cedar, espresso, graphite with a refreshing acidity, the tannins were surprisingly soft and velvety, a good pronounced intensity on the nose and palate with a good persistence. This is promising for the years to come, but was truly impressive at this younger stage.
