Saturday, May 30, 2015 - Developing nicely but showing more signs of age compared to last tastng. The nose offers up classical kirsch liqueur, Grenache fruit, honey and Asian spice. The Swedish Christmas tradition: orange stuffed with cloves is still there... But there is also a subtle tartness which reminds me of plum marmalade. Most likely, this depends on the primary fruit slowly fading and secondary tones emerging. However, the wine is excellent tonight too. The palate is super integrated and offers what should be referred to as a premium integration and balance. With a length on the finish lasting some 35-40 seconds this wine surely is a treat, but structure and texture tell me it should be drunk within the coming few years (if fruit is what you like in a wine).
