93 Points

Sunday, August 4, 2013 - consistent with notes of 6-14-2012. However, on this occasion, this was a smooth pop and pour with all the positives of the last bottle and none of the overwhelming acidity. Great nose of plum, vanilla, and tar. the plum, peppercorn, asian spice and earth comes through in a lovely swirl.

    8/5/2013 12:23:00 AM - Hi there DanielBleier,
Logically this bottle has to soft cause the vintage and cause it is eight years old.
May I suggest to hold one for 2020? Usually with 15 years on this Muga is delicious.
    Cheers,

For Harley1199 - I'd love to hold, looking for more as this was my last bottle.

    Thanks for your kind comment.
Want to be honest, I prefer my Rioja bottles well-aged
My drinking window for these Muga is 2020 to 2030 :-)
    Cheers,
