Wednesday, February 20, 2013 - Objectively a very good wine: excellent concentration, mouth feel, density; great depths of black fruit, tar, crushed berries; great acidity and ripe tannins to age on. It is very big and slightly hot (14.5% on the label), too much so for my taste. Very approachable now, especially with red meat, but would clearly be better in 5-10 years as long as the alcohol doesn't overwhelm it.
