Monday, March 30, 2015 - Dark crimson with lighter rim; very deep in color - one cannot see the bare hand beyond the glass; quite vibrant and healthy still.
On the nose: Burnt rubber, black cherry jam, earthy notes of wet mud covered with autumn leaves, animalistic, pepper-steak-breath & not too complex.
Approchable, ripe & pleasing the palate; a gamey & chewy sensation; neither light of foot nor dancing on the tongue; drink now, the wine will not improve I guess; light backbone, lacking structure & complexity; rather short finish - drink up!
