Sunday, September 22, 2013 - Drank next to a 2009 Sea Smoke and a Nuits St. George 1er Cru. This was the first wine of the tasting and the most amber in color. Had some Burgundian notes mixed with some bigger and brighter fruits. Cranberry, sour cherry, fresh herbs and earth. This had the mouth feel of a french pressed coffee compared to the Sea Smoke which was much more like a chemex.
