Friday, December 19, 2014 - Popped and poured. Surprising amount of freshness comes out at first. It slowly fades into more classic Medoc notes of soil and pepper, chewy tannins, cassis, and plum skin. A touch of orange peel lingers with saddle leather and dark chocolate. Still has plenty of life and is a delicious bottle of wine for the price.
