Friday, April 3, 2015 - This one is getting better with age. Big aroma of black cherry and earth right off the bat. Plum and cherry on the savory palate. Still some grainy tannins and high acidity noticeable at the end, which is annoying right now, but may well resolve into something wonderful. Paired beautifully with pan-roasted duck breast, where the fat easily offset the tannic finish.
