Monday, August 12, 2013 - Lovely nose of dark fruit, cherry and plum and hints of spice, more of the same on the palate, concentrated like jam preserves, sweet, fruity, inky taste but not too sweet, not overdone, no sign of heat/alcohol on the nose or taste, big body, medium finish. I call this a sophisticated zinfandel. The remaining half of the bottle was finished on Monday night while watching the NFL and eating chicken tenders. No improvement in taste.
