Saturday, February 22, 2014 - Very interesting. Much more floral, stem, celery, herbal notes on the nose than previous bottles...almost to a fault imo. Spice. Great fruit, acid and balance. Complex. ? off bottle.

2/22/2014 12:15:00 PM - It sounds like 2004 to me, yet DRC made good wines in 2004.
I had 2002 La Tache two years ago and it performed very well. I still have a bottle left and get a bit anxious to hear it is full of stem and celery.
    Off bottle? Fake bottle?

2/22/2014 12:35:00 PM - From the same case as a bottle that I had a couple of years ago, that did not have the same intense green notes on the nose. So not sure if just an off bottle, or if it's going through some strange phase.

    Thank you for this information.
This information is important for me. I hate to open these kind of bottles just to find out they are shut down.
I had the DRC Richebourg 2007 two months ago and it was shut down and completely closed. I didn't recognize the wine at all.

2/22/2014 10:16:00 PM - I almost drink my 2002 LT. Thanks for the info. I wish 2003 LT is good to drink at the moment and I plan to drink it next month.

BTW, I just drink 2007 GE last month and it performed very good, very surprise, much better than I expected.

10/6/2014 8:46:00 PM - I drank my 02 La Tache in June of 09 and it was fantastic. Beautiful flowers on the intense nose. Primary of course in the mouth but smooth and silky. Nose was absolutely thrilling. Very classy wine. Other DRC experiences for me have not been good. I have one 02 RSV left, and at these prices it will be my last.

10/9/2014 4:53:00 AM - IMO, 2002 Burg is going to wake up very soon. I will check by looking its color through LED. If it's clear and lively, I should open a bottle.

2003 LT tasting last 4 months along with 2003 La Romanee (Liger-Belair), it performed super stunning. A knock-out nose, firm structure, very delicious with super long sensational finished. 99/100
