Saturday, September 26, 2015 - Dark ruby with some orange tinge.
A bit pungent on the nose, showing black cherry, ripe cherry and sweet toasty oak.
Good bodied weight for a Rosso, holding well with loads of dark cherry, rustic notes along with balsamic and woody notes. Nice and big on palate, good structure support by fresh acidity. Spicy finish with chewy tannins. This is very good for a Rosso, almost at entry Brunello level.
