Friday, May 29, 2015 - Surprised by this one. It started out a bit thin and showing oak and not a lot of fruit. But good Burgundy has the ability to add weight in the glass and that's what this one did. After an hour and half of coaxing it developed into a lovely mid-weight Gevrey, smooth finish with none of the wood splinters I had feared at the outset. Still has life ahead of it but no reason to hold off drinking it.
