Wednesday, March 4, 2009 - Citric and herbaceous nose with sea salt, crushed stones, greenish stone fruit, just slightly lactic. Tastes of green citric fruit, underripe stone fruit, mineral. Good concentration for this vintage, with a gentle mouthfilling quality and tightly clenched, razor-sharp acidity. Wonderful Muscadet with an austere, pinpoint style that reminds me of Pepiere's 2004s. Very tight, I'd give this another six months or else decant well ahead of drinking.
