Sunday, May 3, 2015 - Dark garnet and plum purple with edge thinning and medium viscosity in the glass. Nose of fig, stewed plum, bramble, mushroom an dusty attic. Medium body, rustic and a touch of jamminess. Stewed plum, brambly dark fruit, muddy earth, black tea, currant and secondary sweet spice on the palate. Medium finish. Fun to taste aged Cali zin, but this one left me bored after a couple mouthfuls.
