Sunday, October 17, 2010 - Dry riesling @ Groppi's; 10/15/2010-10/26/2010 (Groppi's): nose is showing quite glacial. a green grassy element emerges. this is much more talkative out the gate than the last time. fennel bulb. palate is dry and rather exacting. glassy texture on the palate with some edgy minerals/acids on the finish. soft potpourri style florals on the palate.
DAY3, pear and waxy grape on the nose. palate shows the sandalwood/nag champa expression of the ludwig hillside 2007. green olive on the finish. !!!!!!! I love this wine.
