Saturday, February 7, 2015 - First half bottle from a case of 12. An intriguing vintage. Brassy colour, not as dark as you might fear, slightly spirity nose with cloves and Sevile orange, and similar on the palate. This is not ne of those rich, creamy sauternes, it's not viscous and has more of a cognac texture. But not oxidised, very alive, plenty of time left. More of an after-dinner drink by the fireside than a dessert wine.
