Wednesday, October 15, 2014 - Brief tasting note. Decanted for 1.5 hours. Very forward aromas dark black fruit supplemented with casiss, lead pencil, and cedar notes. Very ripe blackberry fruit with excellent balance. The wine finishes short of my expectations for a 1997 Cali cab. Unsure if this will age gracefully from here. Drink Now. 93 Pts.
