Sunday, June 7, 2015 - In a sweet spot heralded by an enticing floral aroma. Plenty of well-balanced dark berry, mineral and spice flavor with lively acidity and perfectly matched tannins. Bested a 2004 Penfolds Grange in side-by-side tasting. While this wine is probably at its peak and the Grange will likely benefit from more time in the cellar, that is still quite an accomplishment.
