Friday, December 19, 2014 - Friday Dinner at Chui Huay Lim (Chui Huay Lim): Pop and poured. Initially a bit tight, and really only opened up after 1 hour+.
Appearance is clear, pale intensity, ruby colour. Legs.
Nose is clean, medium- intensity, with aromas of dusty earth, toasted oak, sour red cherries. Developing.
On the palate, dry, medium+ acidity, medium alcohol, medium tannins, medium body. Medium+ flavour intensity, with flavours of dusty earth, toasted oak, sour red cherries, raspberry. Medium+ finish.
Lovely easy mouth-feel. Classic Tuscan Sangiovese taste. Very good quality. Can drink now, and enjoy over the next 5 years too.
Sangiovese with a bit of Caniaolo and Colorino.
