Friday, January 29, 2016 - Barolo and Burgundy dinner - 79 Cristal, 89 & 93 DRC Ech, 05 RSV, 10 Rousseau CdB and etc. (The Grill Room at Capella Hotel Georgetown): Incredibly dense nose displaying lemon oil, lemon curd, honey and wet stone. Excellent concentration, dense and oily palate, bright acidity and strong presence of mineral and lovely long finish. This particular bottle seemed to be in a slightly awkward stage. It will need another ten years of cellaring to reach the peak. Nevertheless quite enjoyable.
