Tuesday, February 28, 2012 - This is an interesting wine using Bordeaux varietals. It has a clear, medium ruby color and a clean, medium intense nose. Distinct liquorice, black cherries, bell pepper, cedar, and nuts in the nose. The palate shows a dry wine with medium-plus tannins, and medium acidity. Black cherries, pomegranate, and some black pepper ride the back of the tannins. The finish is of medium length and proved to be a good wine with interesting flavors. This should keep another five years.
