Sunday, November 2, 2014 - The 7 years since the last bottle have really served this wine well. Straw colored. Nose has complex array of white and stone fruits, oily lemon and slate. Yes, this is rich on the palate but no longer 'thick', not so sweet, and no hint of excess etoh. The acid mineral is in great balance with the complex lengthy fruit. Bright and clear. Played extremely well with the charcuterie plate at Table 6.
