Tuesday, April 1, 2014 - The nose is reticent, but on the palate I am enjoying ripe plums, dark fruits, leather, garrigue, blackberries and black tea. The tannins are soft and the wine has a nice long finish to it. I do agree that the alcohol percentage is a little heady. Sort of like a Ridge Zinfandel in that respect.
