Sunday, February 20, 2011 - Little heat on the nose, but no heat noticeable in the taste or finish. Light to medium tannins, tastes of light red fruit (which really shine through on the finish) and defiantly a hint of smoke. Not any depth to speak of, but a nice little wine from El Jefe.

*EDIT*--Original note above was written after first glass. After letting the wine open up for an hour, all I can say is WOW. Beautiful, smooth fruit. What a great, easy-going drinking wine. Must buy more....here's hoping there's a Woot 6-pack deal like there was on the *%#&@!
