91 Points

Sunday, April 15, 2012 - Very drinkable and enjoyable wine, basically a toned down version of the fabulous 07 Plumpjack. Mild and somewhat subdued red and black fruit on the nose and front end with hints of leather and vanilla. Sweet tannins and oak quietly enter mid palate and finish, but don't dominate. Drinking well now, nowhere near as tannic as the Plumpjack, which may need 10 more years.
