Monday, July 29, 2013 - Dinner at l'Artusi 7/29/2013 (l'Artusi, NYC): Pale straw. Pure, fresh saline and oyster shell nose; could not be more classic: lemon-lime notes, steel, and concrete. The palate is a portrait of austerity at this early stage, very crisp but with the fine ripeness you expect from Les Clos. Primary and unevolved, but with fine balance. Good length. Hold for at least 5-8 years, but likely quite a few more than that. (from magnum, and memory)
