Wednesday, November 25, 2009 - A bit aromatically challenged. Shows some tobacco, cedar, currant and caramel, requires lots of swirling. Good acidity with pleasant bitterness showing on finish. Medium extraction, medium body. Nice texture and seamless flavor arc. Just lacking some impact on the nose, but very enjoyable to drink, showing an elegant profile. Worth the price, hits a nice spot for a CF. Not flabby, yet not overly herbaceous, either. Rather juicy in a good way. Light dusty tannins.
