Monday, August 5, 2013 - This 1996 bottle has been properly cellared since purchase but based on other mixed reviews I did not know what to expect. Didn't want to hold on to it much longer so opened it up on an average sunday nite with a halibut/salmon dinner. The cork was dry and fell apart and I thought the bottle was going to be ruined.

Surprised to the upside, thought it may have been gone. Color is fading, mild browning on the edges. Dusted red cherry, berry, plums, orange zest, oak. Still has some vibrancy. If you have it, drink up.
