Sunday, June 29, 2014 - This excites me for some of the younger Relentless that we have sitting in our cellar (and also makes me convinced patience is key). Wine still on the young side, but starting to come together more. We opened it (but no decant) prob an hour or two before we started serving. Then drank the glass (against an '03 Araujo Eisele Syrah and an '07 Efeste Ceidleigh) over the course of another hour or so. Much fruiter than the Araujo, less syrup-y than the Efeste. It was very tight upon first pour, but opened up over the course of the night (in retrospect, really should have decanted). Great blackberries. Nice leather. Tasty wine.
