Saturday, March 13, 2010 - Opened and poured, this wine showed well and combined a mixture of youthfulness maturity. The aromatics show cherry, forest floor, floral and subtle spice notes. The color is a medium brick that is appropriate for the wines age. The medium bodied palate shows depth, complexity and balance. The mostly resolved tannins still make a minor appearance on the finish. This is drinking well now and not likely to improve with additional bottle age. This bottle provided a solid showing for this wine and demonstrates that the wine has developed nicely since release.
