Wednesday, July 3, 2013 - I know Janasse is "supposed" to be huge and in your face but this was very pleasant to sip and smell. Nicely balanced, and while not shy, very sipable with food. Killed with lamb balls drenched in cherry-Pinot chutney. Dark red fruit, tobacco, fig jam, olive, dried flowers, green herbs, pepper, and mild vanilla. Long finish.
