Thursday, September 5, 2013 - This bottle of Napa Cab had a dark, inky, purple color with a ruby rim. It's nose was beautiful, with aromas of ripe fruit, violets, spice, and vanilla. The wine was very masculine and fruit forward. It tasted of dark cherries, blackberries, plums, cassis, mocha, cedar, and bay leaves. There was also a tiny bit of smokiness noted. The wine was full bodied, bold, palate gripping and complex. It's finish was long and enjoyable, with nice gripping tannins.

This cabernet is a very well made and predictable crowd pleaser.
