Tuesday, September 30, 2008 - Ummm...this has really come in to its own. One helluva a $14 wine. Full aromas of bright, sweet red fruit, herbs, toasty oak and smoke on the nose. Palate has smooth and modestly rich, sappy red and black fruits. A nice herbal and licorice kick on the mid-palate. Juicy acidity and fine, suave tannin. Good length of moderately intense, candied fruit, toast and smoke. Very tasty and totally gulpable. A pleasure to drink.
