Tuesday, January 27, 2015 - The cherry-brick color was right on target; Great leather notes and tart dried cherry and some black tea; Not as full on the palate as the nose might indicate, but quite nice and integrated. This is what makes a Barolo great and shows how the right aging takes off the rough edges of traditional Barolo. This might improve (I don't have the requisite experience), but it certainly is lovely now. Great with truffled risotto and tenderloin.
