Saturday, February 16, 2013 - Such a nice wine. The nose is slightly muted with banana, lemon oil, and clean stone. Think Chassagne Montrachet. The entry is thick, oily, and buttery with tropical fruits...mango, lime, banana, etc...truly Californian. The finish is so racy and acidic that it cleanses your palate immediately leaving no trace of alcohol. It really lingers for 30s with spicy tartness. You just want more. This wine is truly "new world" meets "old world" in all its glory. Awesome.
