Saturday, July 4, 2015 - Light funk , dark earth on the nose. With air time white and bell pepper emerge along with vanilla, black pepper, blackberry, tar, nutmeg, dry moss and dried meat. Nose held up well, still vibrant three hours after opening. Blackberry and old leather on the palate with residual tannin still present. Still young although maturity shows at times. Has yet to develop the length of a great wine, but indications that this will become something more in coming years. 93+
