Saturday, December 15, 2012 - This was decanted for 2 hours before the first taste. Inky purple in color with a nose of creme de cassis and blackberry with a hint of plum. The mouthfeel is incredible, velvety smooth. The tannins are smooth and the taste just lingers on the palate. Red raspberry and currants on the palate. The finish just lingers, ok I know I already said that but it does... Very well balanced. I'm definitely looking forward to the remaining bottles in my cellar.
